• Prepare and coordinate presentations and technical documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
• Review, track, and process construction administration documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in professional associations and industry activities to support continued learning and professional growth.

Civil Design Engineer

Project Manager

• Prepare and/or oversee complete electrical drawings for schematic design, design development, and construction documents in close collaboration with internal teams, architects, clients, and consultants.
• Lead the electrical design effort and coordinate with other disciplines to define requirements for equipment power, lighting, and special systems throughout the project scope.
• Apply a strong understanding of design standards and code requirements related to medium-voltage and utility systems.
• Contribute to projects of varying types, sizes, and complexities, including large-scale, technically complex projects and those incorporating emerging industry technologies.
• Develop creative and effective electrical design solutions using sound engineering judgment; evaluate alternative electrical distribution schemes based on cost, efficiency, space constraints, constructability, and performance.
• Prepare project labor hour and fee estimates; review construction cost estimates; write, edit, and develop project specifications as needed.
• Perform feasibility studies for existing facilities and electrical systems, including load analysis, capacity assessments, and future electrical requirements; coordinate metering strategies and field surveys as required.
• Support construction administration activities, including punch lists, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
• Design and coordinate special electrical systems such as photovoltaics, emergency and standby power systems, battery energy storage systems, fire pumps, and grounding; maintain a working knowledge of low-voltage and fire alarm systems.

Electrical Project Manager

• You will be working onsite with one of our clients as the prime point of contact to see one of our projects through the entirety of construction.
• Maintain excellent relationships with the client and their stakeholders, contractors, Agencies Having Jurisdiction (AHJ), consultants, subconsultants and team members.
• Lead and manage the team during the Bid and Award Phase including attending pre-bid meetings and site walks, reviewing substitution requests, answering Contractor inquiries and issuing addenda, and processing the addenda through the appropriate AHJ.
• Manage and direct all activities related to project construction contract administration, including, but not limited to, quality assurance/quality control of Contract Documents, team management, client communication, field observation reports, review of change orders, pay application review and processing, RFI review and answers, submittal review and tracking, information management/document control, and project closeout.
• Perform, and oversee if performed by others, on-site observations and document findings.
• Understand project detail and design intent with the ability to interpret and resolve issues in the field expeditiously.
• Attend construction meetings.
• Perform punch walks and document findings.
• Review close out documents including as-built drawings, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.
• Determine dates for substantial completion and warranty commencement.
• Manage client billing process and project finances, including revenue and staffing projections.
• Mentor and communicate with LPA staff regarding CA procedures and project processes.
• Prepare project schedules, additional service proposals, budgets, work plans, etc. and staff/team planning.
• Review contractual and financial documents including the Owner-Architect Agreement and Owner-Contractor Agreement.
• Serve as the Architect of Record. Affix professional stamp and signature to all required project documentation.
