Monitor and investigate security events across network, platforms, and cloud environments
Support security incident response through investigation, escalation, and follow-up activities
Review authentication activity, access controls, and system configurations to identify potential gaps
Support with maintaining the effectiveness of security operational controls and practices, aligned with SOC 2 and ISO requirements
Maintain and support logging and monitoring controls across infrastructure and cloud services
Participate in BCP/DR testing and related documentation activities
Support the Information Security team with ongoing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) activities
Collaborate with Engineering and Product to support secure software development practices
Work cross-functionally to support security operations and customer trust initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related technical field
3–5 years of experience in security operations, SOC, incident response, or IT operations with a strong security focus
Solid understanding of security monitoring, incident handling, access management, and logging practices in production environments
Experience supporting security controls aligned to frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001/42001
Hands-on experience working in cloud and modern technology environments, including macOS, AWS, and Linux-based systems
Familiarity with SIEM, SAST, DAST, WAF and cloud security technology
Experience reviewing security events, investigating incidents, and contributing to follow-up activities
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain security topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and work effectively with cross-functional partners
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with sound judgment on when to escalate and when to proceed independently, while collaborating across teams
Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GSOC or GIAC Applied Knowledge Certifications, Cloud security certifications from AWS or Azure, or Comparable hands-on security credentials.
