Represent the voice of the business when working with Group Enabling Platforms.
Build trusted relationships across platforms, functions, and third‑party vendors.

Requirements

Breadth of experience in architecture - financial services, Markets/Investment banking would be an advantage.
High level understanding of cloud architecture.
Strong experience in shaping, influencing, and leading architectural outcomes for a mid to large organisation.
Good technology knowledge across areas such as domain‑driven design, API and event‑based architectures, microservices, event‑driven design, hybrid cloud deployment models, DevOps and CI/CD, modern data paradigms, cyber security, resilience by design, and sustainability.
Sound awareness of emerging technologies, for example GenAI, including their maturity, potential business applications, and how they align to long‑term strategy.
A strong team player with an open, collaborative, approachable, and friendly style.
Ability to use strong storytelling skills, both written and verbal, when presenting recommendations in line with priorities.
Proven success in establishing a culture of continuous improvement and driving innovation.
Experience working in established, complex organisations with large customer bases.
