💰 £25,000 - £25,200 per year
About the role
- Full-time branch-based Customer Support role working across Bank of Scotland branches (Musselburgh & Dalkeith)
- Assist customers side by side in branch and remotely via phone, social media, web-chat and remote advice video calls
- Resolve customer queries with empathy, take time to resolve issues and give customers confidence in the service provided
- Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure customers' needs are met and escalate where necessary
- Follow and progress through the Skill Progression Framework to handle more complex customer needs
- Deliver the organisation's values-focused service, making a difference to customers, businesses and communities
- Work 35 hours per week, including Saturdays; homeworking where applicable
Requirements
- People person – honest, genuine and caring about helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required)
- Ability to quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience
- Passion to put yourself in the customers' shoes, show empathy, acting with care and integrity
- Commitment to deliver on your promises and going above and beyond for customers
- Genuine teammate – collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure customers' needs are met
- Meet Homeworking criteria if in a hybrid location (e.g. a quiet, private room at home, stable internet connection)
- Ability to work 35 hours a week, including Saturdays
- Willingness to work across Bank of Scotland branches within a reasonable distance (Musselburgh & Dalkeith)
