About the role

  • Provide customer support in-branch and remotely (phone, social media, web-chat and remote advice video calls)
  • Help customers side by side in branches and resolve queries with empathy and integrity
  • Work across Bank of Scotland branches within a reasonable distance
  • Work 35 hours per week, including Saturdays
  • Follow the Skill Progression Framework to develop skills and handle more complex customer needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customers' needs are met
  • May work from home for certain activities, requiring homeworking criteria

Requirements

  • People person – honest and genuine, caring about helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required)
  • Ability to quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience
  • Passion to put yourself in the customers' shoes, show empathy, acting with care and integrity
  • Commitment to deliver on your promises and going above and beyond for your customer
  • Genuine teammate - collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure customers' needs are met
  • If located in one of our hybrid locations, meet Homeworking criteria (quiet, private room at home, stable internet connection)
  • Able to work 35 hours per week, including Saturdays
  • Willingness to work across Bank of Scotland branches within a reasonable distance
