About the role
- Full-time branch-based Customer Support role across Bank of Scotland branches (Musselburgh & Dalkeith) working 35 hours/week
- Assist customers face-to-face in branch and remotely via phone, social media, web-chat and video calls
- Resolve customer queries with empathy, taking time to give confidence in service
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet customers' needs and escalate complex issues as required
- Develop skills through the Skill Progression Framework and take on increased responsibilities and pay
- Follow Lloyds Banking Group values and contribute to inclusive customer-focused service
- May work from home when required, subject to homeworking criteria
Requirements
- People person: honest, genuine, caring about helping people with their finances (no previous financial services experience required)
- Ability to quickly build relationships to give customers a fantastic experience
- Passion to put yourself in the customers' shoes, show empathy, acting with care and integrity
- Commitment to deliver on promises and go above and beyond for customers
- Genuine teammate - collaborate closely with colleagues
- If located in hybrid locations, must meet Homeworking criteria (quiet, private room at home, stable internet connection)
- Willingness to work 35 hours per week including Saturdays
