About the role

  • JOB TITLE: Product Owner – Embedded Finance.
  • SALARY: £104,992pa to £146,650pa (dependent on experience and location) plus an extensive benefits package.
  • LOCATION: London, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds or Chester.
  • HOURS: Full time.
  • WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in any of the hubs listed above.
  • Lead Product Owner for a new Embedded Finance Product Lab reporting to Director of Embedded Finance.
  • Overall owner for a single, large and complex product backlog containing many features, journeys or technology components.
  • Champion customer agenda through embedding Consumer Duty and integrating customer lens into team ways of working.
  • Develop strategic solutions, anticipate complex issues, leverage capabilities and maximise re-use.
  • Act as organisational authority and champion the customer while balancing business and technology outcomes.
  • Create and deliver product roadmap and OKRs for the Lab aligned to Group strategy.
  • Manage external vendor/supplier relationships and commercial agreements.
  • Create proactive and autonomous culture for implementation and promote achievements to attract and retain talent.
  • Measure success and ensure team understand value created for customers and business.
  • Deliver income and commercial plans.
  • Operate within sound risk framework and delegate authority to teams within LBG Group standards.

  • A Proven track record of cost control, delivering within budget and using resources effectively.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Proven ability to deliver better, faster and cheaper.
  • Adept at immersing into a Product Business Area including external market trends to bring industry-leading insight to the organisation.
