About the role
- Partner with people leaders to provide confident, risk-aware advice on day-to-day people management
- Support employees through complex queries with professionalism and sound judgement
- Take ownership of delivering consistent, legally sound people solutions
- Provide timely, accurate and pragmatic advice to people leaders and employees
- Assist and advise on employment relations and performance management matters
- Deliver training and guidance on employment legislation and compliance obligations
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of current employment legislation
- Proven experience leading employment relations processes
- Highly developed critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in a human resources or similar advisory role
- Strong numerical and data analysis capability
