Live Nation operates a national Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) network across live concert venues in the U.S., powered by an industry-standard platform and a proprietary in-house campaign management system.
We are seeking a DOOH CMS Platform Strategy Consultant for a 6-month contract to lead the evaluation and selection of a unified DOOH CMS and campaign management platform that will streamline operations, replace our internal tool, and support future growth.
Discovery & Workflow Audit: Review and document existing tools, processes, integrations, and content workflows
Platform Analysis & Vendor Evaluation: Assess capabilities of current CMS platforms; Research and compare alternative DOOH CMS platforms; Evaluate solutions based on: Workflow management from booking to scheduling; UI/UX for ad ops and campaign managers; Screen/network control; Proof-of-play and reporting; Vendor support, SLAs, pricing; Flexibility for varied screen formats and venues
Recommendation Development: Propose a best-fit platform (or shortlist) to replace the internal tool; Highlight trade-offs, costs, and migration priorities; Outline hardware or on-site operational impacts
Roadmap & Transition Planning: Create a phased migration plan with: Timeline; Resource requirements; Training/documentation; Risk mitigation; Governance model
Requirements
5+ years’ experience in DOOH or digital signage platform strategy
Hands-on expertise with CMS platforms such as Broadsign, Vistar, VisionEDGE
Proven track record in software/platform transitions or migrations
Strong understanding of content flow, scheduling logic, playback rules, and reporting
Experience in live event or entertainment environments is a plus
Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with product, ad ops, and tech teams
Excellent documentation and presentation capabilities
Familiarity with CMS UI design and admin workflows
Comfortable with SaaS evaluation and systems integration strategy
