About the role

  • Overall solution design and product selection
  • Technical discovery: working closely with the customer, arranging the requirements, figuring out the opportunities and the limitations
  • Supporting the sales team during onboarding of potential new customers
  • Technical presentations, demos, screencasts to sales and customers
  • Reporting to the product management team about what improvements should be made to our product roadmap
  • Managing stock availability and deployment timelines together with the vendors and the supply chain managers
  • Learning about new products and technologies in the hosting infrastructure industry

Requirements

  • AWS specialist: very good understanding of AWS architecture, working with AWS EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, RDS, EKS, Direct Connect with 3 or more years of involvement in different IT and tech activities, and a broad knowledge of hosting technologies
  • A fluent English speaker
  • Available to occasional work overtime with customers from the U.S. and APAC
  • Aware of modern technology including at least some of the following: VLAN RAID CPU and hardware design IP networking IP routing and BGP in general, no specific brand or software: firewalling, network attached storages
  • Nice-to-have requirements: already working as an Architect
  • Experience with computer hardware
  • Experience in system administration
  • Basic scripting
  • STEM bachelor degree.
