About the role

  • Shadow and assist IT team members with troubleshooting and resolving basic computer and network issues
  • Participate in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and calibrating printers and other devices, under supervision
  • Support the setup and configuration of hardware and software for end users
  • Help document IT processes and solutions for future reference
  • Learn and apply desktop service desk workflows and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment
  • Observe and assist with system analysis and performance monitoring
  • Contribute to IT research and surveys to identify areas for improvement
  • Practice safe data handling and learn about IT security protocols
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to expand technical knowledge

Requirements

  • Current college student in good academic standing (Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate program in Computer Science or Information Systems)
  • Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of programming and Microsoft Office
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow
