About the role
- Shadow and assist IT team members with troubleshooting and resolving basic computer and network issues
- Participate in routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and calibrating printers and other devices, under supervision
- Support the setup and configuration of hardware and software for end users
- Help document IT processes and solutions for future reference
- Learn and apply desktop service desk workflows and problem-solving skills in a supportive environment
- Observe and assist with system analysis and performance monitoring
- Contribute to IT research and surveys to identify areas for improvement
- Practice safe data handling and learn about IT security protocols
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to expand technical knowledge
Requirements
- Current college student in good academic standing (Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate program in Computer Science or Information Systems)
- Strong interest in technology and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of programming and Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow
