Security Engineer

• Provide the overall safety and security of employees, guests and facilities
• Monitor access control systems for all employees and guests, verify credentials, issue temporary I.D. badges
• Monitor all fire and alarm systems for the corporate office, Mentor facility, various sales offices and Distribution Centers
• Constant monitoring of all radio communications
• Act as the company's 911 (2222) (6222) emergency response center
• Act as Incident Command emergency dispatch center for critical incidents
• Dispatch ETM’s for emergency response on critical incidents
• Coordinate with local police and fire for critical incident emergency response
• Patrol property, enforce parking guidelines, monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings
• Monitor vehicle access in and out of the truck gate, verify manifest and inspect vehicles
• Maintain various security logs
• Direct and monitor all railroad traffic in and out of the facility to ensure safety of all employees
• Interpret and enforce company and departmental policies and procedures
• Effectively represent the company to all guests
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security
• Irregular work schedule required
