About the role

  • Call Center Customer Service Representative to assist Medicaid recipients and healthcare providers. Learn Medicaid benefits, eligibility and claims analysis. Respond to Virginia Medicaid member and provider inquiries in a call center using standard scripts and procedures. Gather information, assess caller needs, research and resolve inquiries and document calls. Provide clear and concise information regarding eligibility, claim status and provider enrollment status. Follow documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations. Act as an advocate for Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure their needs are met. Additional Duties: Verify documents and images; Complete required training. Preferred Experience: Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance; data entry and database documentation; call center or professional office experience; MMIS knowledge; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to clear a criminal background check and drug test High Speed internet access and space to work away from noise and distractions.
