About the role
- Develop project cost and schedule estimates for Build-to-Print based request for quotes.
- Identify the manufacturing process, accurately develop the cost model, create quotations and provide other supporting information as needed to sell Lincoln Electric Automation-designed equipment.
- Evaluate the feasibility of Build-to-Print projects based on data supplied by Sales, Engineering, Management, and Customers.
- Identify, develop and assist in the development of tools needed for the quoting process.
- Help to develop manufacturing processes and concepts capable of producing systems or products.
- Assist as necessary with customer communication, presentations, and trade related events.
- Follow-up as necessary with sales, customers, and representatives.
- Responsible for following Department ISO procedures.
- Participate in activities to ensure continued process improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma (Associate degree in technical discipline preferred)
- Basic CAD experience (3D modeling is a plus)
- Understanding of basic Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective writing and communication skills
- Commitment to company values
- 2-4 years experience working with customers and suppliers
