International Director of Impact and External Relations

• Provide global strategic leadership for institutional and international foundation fundraising, shaping a forward-looking funding strategy, cultivating high-value partnerships, and aligning donor engagement with programme priorities
• Ensure growth and diversification of funding by expanding institutional and foundation partnerships, exploring innovative financing models (including advisory and consulting services), and strategically engaging Global South funding ecosystems
• Ensure organisational excellence in programme quality and learning, promoting coherent and high-impact approaches for planning, monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and accountability
• Drive innovation in programme design and impact measurement, evolving beyond traditional reach indicators to deliver meaningful insights and evidence that inform decision-making and demonstrate long-term change
• Lead and develop the Impact and External Relations Department, guiding six specialist teams (Institutional Partnerships, Impact & Learning, Programme Quality & Systems Change, Advisory Services, Global Communication & Brand, Advocacy) and fostering collaboration, innovation, and team development
• Champion the operationalisation of Light for the World’s 2030 strategy, ensuring strategic alignment and participation in key organisational processes (MAPP, Go/No-Go, strategic reviews)
• Strengthen and expand external partnerships, building visibility, credibility, and influence through collaboration with institutional donors, advisory partners, and peer organisations
• Encourage thought leadership and innovation, ensuring Light for the World stays at the forefront of emerging trends and approaches in disability inclusion, development cooperation, and systems change
• Contribute to international leadership and governance as part of the Senior Management Team, supporting strategic decision-making, organisational development, and global coherence

Accountant

• Manage and coordinate internal control audits and support annual statutory audits.
• Analyze control deficiencies, recognize organizational changes, and shape the control environment.
• Train and develop accounting skills across the organization and foster a strong accounting community to ensure accurate and compliant accounting practices in the Global South country offices.
• Lead the consolidation processes and systems for the Global South country offices.
• Serve as the point of contact for accounting-related audits and reporting.
• Track management letters and audit reports to ensure implementation of improvements.
• Work closely with group and project controlling to ensure alignment in financial processes.

Senior Accountant

Email Marketing Manager

• Planning, implementation and analysis of activities to convert donors, increase retention, upgrade giving levels and cross-sell, with a focus on telephone and email marketing
• Close collaboration with internal colleagues and external service providers
• Responsibility for the email marketing tool (frontend)
• Designing, executing and analysing target-group-specific campaigns
• Creatively developing texts, images and calls-to-action to boost performance
• Further development of the integration programme through smart linking of offline and online tools
• Implementing measures to improve the repeat-donation (second-donation) rate

Fundraising Specialist – Recurring Donations, Email Marketing

Accounting Manager

• Ensure compliance and audit readiness across all Light for the World entities, working closely with external auditors and local teams
• Lead month- and year-end closings for our Global North entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to relevant GAAP standards
• Prepare statutory financial statements and oversee general ledger management with a focus on consistency and quality
• Consolidate financial data across our legal entities, ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations and clear external reporting
• Oversee key finance operations, including treasury, receivables, payables, and intercompany transactions
• Maintain and improve internal control systems, identifying risks and ensuring global compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Drive process improvement and automation, supporting our digital finance transformation efforts
• Develop and document accounting policies, process manuals, and training materials to ensure clarity and audit-readiness
• Provide strategic financial insight to senior management and contribute to decision-making with timely, clear reporting
• Lead and mentor international finance teams, fostering development, collaboration, and accountability across countries
