People Operations

• Lead and inspire the global People & Culture department and serve as key member of the International Management Team (7 direct reports, dotted line to 6 country offices)
• Drive and steer implementation of global People & Culture strategy aligned with Strategy 2030 and targets
• Foster a thriving, engaged and inclusive workforce within budgets and financial requirements
• Design and implement leadership development and succession planning
• Champion organisational values, culture, diversity, equity & inclusion and decolonising development across countries
• Ensure strong foundations in compensation & benefits, HR practices and policies, and legal compliance across country footprint
• Deal with local and international HR enquiries and guide/support operational HR tasks
• Build future-ready HR processes and support implementation of a new HR tool
• Act as global safeguarding lead and ensure transparent, inclusive incident management with safeguarding officers and focal points
