About the role
- Clear new submissions, perform support and distribution tasks, and process rating requests for commercial lines of business
- Issue policy, audit, endorsement, and cancellation requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain documentation in support of compliance and attestation controls
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders professionally
- Apply, interpret, validate, and maintain standard operating procedures
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause problem solving
- Participate in team huddles, share knowledge, and provide guidance and training to team members and business partners
- Act as a liaison between Underwriting and external business partners
- Complete transactions/tasks with a high degree of accuracy and support departmental production goals
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 to 2 years of insurance industry experience required
- Solid problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow and refine detailed processing instructions
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and processing systems
- Solid customer service skills
- Solid organizational and time management skills
