About the role
- Own the mobile side for a new business at Skylight and build whole features independently
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and implement new features
- Write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code in React and React Native
- Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive test suite
- Optimize application performance and improve the user experience
- Implement best practices in build and deployment processes and release management
- Ensure architecture enables scaling of team and user-base
- Establish processes for monitoring performance, device logs, and exceptions
- Mentor and guide other Front End engineers and participate in code reviews
Requirements
- Extensive experience (5+ years) developing React Native & Typescript
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design patterns
- Expertise in the release management cycle
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with new technologies and trends
