Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ occupational performance; Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients’ needs; Provide direct occupational therapy services to clients in a variety of settings; Monitor and document clients’ progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary; Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care; Educate clients and families about therapeutic strategies and resources available; Participate in training and community outreach activities
Requirements
Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program; Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist; Must have valid driver’s license and car insurance; Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals is preferred; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; Preferred: 1-2 years of experience; Bilingual skills; Knowledge of adaptive technology and assistive devices; Experience with community-based services and resources
