About the role

  • Lead and execute a diverse range of quantitative and qualitative research projects addressing major business questions for Fortune 500 clients.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and manage complete execution of projects, including project scoping, cost estimations, and client communication.
  • Design and program research instruments using multiple methodologies and Fuel Cycle Research Engine platform; load, test, and proofread surveys before production.
  • Assure data accuracy and relevance, oversee data collection, ensure quotas are met, and maintain data quality.
  • Analyze data, develop insightful results or "story" addressing business objectives, and prepare and present reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to interpret research findings and generate recommendations.
  • Lead, mentor, train, and performance manage junior market research team members (RM/SRA), ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate and execute project components for multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (community management, programming and data processing, Customer Experience).
  • Assist with daily moderation of research activities in communities and extract insights.
  • Ensure all project components are executed within scope and timelines, and ensure client satisfaction by managing expectations and delivering high-quality market insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • At least 5 years of prior market research experience (preferably with a research vendor company).
  • A minimum of 2 years of staff management experience in market research.
  • A minimum of 3 years of client relationship management experience.
  • Proficiency in survey design, statistical analysis, and qualitative data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in market research tools and statistical software (such as SPSS, SAS, Qualtrics, and/or Alchemer).
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and organized.
  • Capable of working independently and within teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred (but not required): Moderating experience of IDIs or focus groups.
  • Preferred (but not required): Ability to stay informed about industry trends, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies.
