About the role

  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives across the MEA Region to enhance operational performance and promote lean management principles
  • Developing and implementing a robust lean framework to ensure consistent and effective deployment of lean practices aligned with global best practices
  • Contributing to the creation and execution of lean vision, strategy, policies, and procedures to drive operational excellence
  • Organizing and facilitating training programs to build a strong understanding of lean management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement among regional teams
  • Collaborating with each entity to establish, monitor, and report on their continuous improvement roadmaps, aligned with their priorities and strategies
  • Ensuring continuous improvement projects are strategically aligned and work closely with key stakeholders
  • Providing support and guidance to participants across the MEA region for the successful deployment of improvement initiatives
  • Conducting business processes and statistical analyses to identify and evaluate ongoing and potential improvement opportunities
  • Visiting regional plants, analyzing current conditions, collecting data, and proposing effective solutions to address identified issues
  • Performing root cause analysis to resolve problems detected or reported by the MEA region plants
  • Identifying business improvement opportunities for MEA region subsidiaries, developing projects and action plans, and presenting them to management
  • Managing and supporting the Factory 4.0 Regional Project Executive and Automation Leader, ensuring alignment with the regional industrial strategy
  • Oversseeing the regional "Factory 4.0" roadmap deployment, ensuring the proposed technological solutions serve the lean efficiency goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in applying lean methodologies in industrial companies
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0, automation, or digital manufacturing projects is an advantage
  • Background in the food or chemical industry is preferred
  • Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or an equivalent certification may be an asset
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment
  • Understanding of operational and information technology, industrial data management, and advanced production technologies
  • Proven track record in project and people management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • Fluent in English, with French as an additional asset
  • No military obligations for male candidates
