About the role
- The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) oversees sales performance for assigned regions by creating and implementing strategy, managing and supporting their team, and maintaining internal relationships.
- The RSM position is remote within the New England area, with occasional reporting to the Uxbridge, MA headquarters as required.
- Travel is estimated at 30%-50%.
- Lead, mentor and inspire a diverse team to achieve and exceed regional sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the overall company objectives and regional market opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities and implement initiatives that expand market share.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners and industry stakeholders.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports and actionable insights to Leadership.
- Willingness to travel 30-50% of the time
Requirements
- 5+ years of actual high-performance sales experience with products used in the manufacturing and/or process industries
- 5+ years' experience as a manager with exceptional leadership skills & ability to lead teams and drive results
- Strong communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels
- Proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams
- Experience with multi-channel sales approaches
- Technical undergraduate degree + MBA (preferred)
