About the role

  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and execute treasury strategies aligned with our business objectives.
  • Overseeing the operational aspects of treasury, including cash management, foreign exchange, and hedging activities.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day cash flow operations, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Work with Capital Markets to establish optimum investment strategy for Treasury assets.
  • Implementing robust risk management practices to safeguard our financial position.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and investors.
  • Leading and developing a lean high-performing treasury team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in treasury management, within the consumer lending space or a asset-backed treasury business.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and US financial markets, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in strategic financial planning, cash flow management, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in treasury operations and systems implementation and management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
  • Excited about the opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment and have a real impact on the business.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACT, CFA, or ACCA are desirable.
