About the role
- Partner with actuarial and underwriting experts to develop coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements
- Measure the impact of product changes to support learnings and future decisions
- Collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval and with the Product team to implement new features
- Research market trends and competitor actions and make recommendations to profitably grow the pet business
- Manage effectiveness of current product performance and recommend improvements and enhancements
- Help drive the product roadmap while monitoring and measuring the progress of key initiatives
- Craft customer experience to make insurance fast, simple, and delightful
Requirements
- 6+ years of P&C experience, with 5+ years of personal lines insurance experience in product development or product management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and taking action
- Strong technical skills with SQL, Looker, or similar data visualization tools, and experience creating reports and dashboards
- Ownership mentality, works quickly and efficiently to execute projects
- Superior organizational and project management capabilities, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work remotely
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (employer is unable to sponsor applicants for work visas)
