You will be responsible for creating comprehensive Demand Plans and Production Plans, providing clear direction regarding products, schedules, part numbers, and demand volumes for manufacturing activities
Analyze and validate customer-provided data to develop accurate demand forecasts for assemblies, subassemblies, and individual parts
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers, including federal agencies, to ensure alignment and delivery of production schedules
Provide precise demand signals to Manufacturing Engineering teams for capital expenditure planning and supply chain readiness
Partner closely with major prime contractors and Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders
Develop and refine demand schedules through customer engagement, often requiring on-site interactions and data synthesis
Requirements
Proven experience at a Senior Manager level or higher in developing detailed demand profiles and/or supply chain schedules
Background in Aerospace, Automotive, or Defense manufacturing sectors
Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar analytical tools
Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to effectively translate customer insights and anecdotal information into actionable demand forecasts
Ability and willingness to travel 30-40% of the time for on-site customer data collection and analysis
