About the role
- You will be responsible for creating comprehensive Demand Plans and Production Plans, providing clear direction regarding products, schedules, part numbers, and demand volumes for manufacturing activities
- Analyze and validate customer-provided data to develop accurate demand forecasts for assemblies, subassemblies, and individual parts
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and customers, including federal agencies, to ensure alignment and delivery of production schedules
- Provide precise demand signals to Manufacturing Engineering teams for capital expenditure planning and supply chain readiness
- Partner closely with major prime contractors and Department of Defense (DoD) stakeholders
- Develop and refine demand schedules through customer engagement, often requiring on-site interactions and data synthesis
Requirements
- Proven experience at a Senior Manager level or higher in developing detailed demand profiles and/or supply chain schedules
- Background in Aerospace, Automotive, or Defense manufacturing sectors
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or similar analytical tools
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to effectively translate customer insights and anecdotal information into actionable demand forecasts
- Ability and willingness to travel 30-40% of the time for on-site customer data collection and analysis
- ITAR: must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required authorizations
