About the role

  • Design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications hosted on AWS
  • Focus on implementing AWS-managed services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), and Python-based automation
  • Interfacing with relational and non-relational data sources; contributing to DevOps pipelines
  • Full stack and JavaScript/TypeScript experience considered a plus

Requirements

  • 7-9 years of professional experience supporting the design, development, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications hosted on AWS, with a focus on implementing AWS-managed services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code (CDK or Terraform), and Python-based automation.
  • U.S. citizenship status
  • Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Security Clearance
  • Must be able to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD
  • AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS; CDK or Terraform (IaC)
  • Programming & Scripting: Python; JavaScript/TypeScript (preferred)
  • DevOps & Automation: CI/CD, automated testing, deployment automation
  • Containerization: Docker; Kubernetes
  • Databases: relational and non-relational databases
  • API/interface development for data integration
  • Web application development; cloud-native architecture; full-stack development (preferred)
