About the role

  • Virtual Service Operations is searching for an experienced AWS Developer to join our dynamic IT team in Fort Meade, MD. This hybrid role requires candidates to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site. In this role, you will support the design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures, focusing on networking, identity integration, infrastructure as code, and application layer support using tools like Python, Terraform, and Ansible. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, Terraform or AWS CDK, identity provider integration, API development, and tools like Ansible to support mission-critical cloud solutions in a hybrid, cleared environment. Requirements

  • Cloud & Architecture: AWS architecture design and implementation Identity provider integration (e.g., SAML, OIDC) Automation & Scripting: Python (for scripting and task automation) Ansible (for configuration management) Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform or AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) Networking: Strong understanding of cloud and CNE-based networking Development & Integration: JavaScript / TypeScript API integration 7-9 years of professional experience supporting design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures U.S. citizenship Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Security Clearance Must be able to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
