About the role
- Provide one-on-one online accounting tutoring sessions
- Teach a variety of math subjects from 6th grade through college level
- Guide students through Accounting courses and broader math topics
- Create personalized lesson plans and tailor instruction to student needs
- Help students build academic skills, knowledge, and confidence
- Conduct remote tutoring sessions using digital annotation tools (stylus)
- Maintain a professional, quiet tutoring environment and reliable technology
- Set and manage your own schedule and availability
- Collaborate with a community of tutors and participate in professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 3 years of professional tutoring or teaching experience
- At least 1 year of online tutoring experience
- Relevant teaching experience and familiarity with the U.S. curriculum
- Strong subject matter expertise in Math (6th Grade to College level)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability during peak hours (Monday-Thursday, 3-10 PM ET) preferred
- Broader weekday and weekend availability is a plus
- Fast, reliable internet connection
- A computer or laptop, a stylus pen (highly recommended), and headphones
- Professional, quiet environment conducive to tutoring
- U.S.-based bank account and SSN
