About the role
- Manage the Quality/customer interface to assure requirements are understood
- Responsible for the problem resolution process, ensuring deadlines are met
- Manage Customer Scorecard performance and engage areas in corrective actions
- Oversee Plant Quality Department and activities
- Lead implementation of Quality Management Systems throughout operations
- Validate Quality Lab and product evaluation requirements
- Ensure participation in product development and launch activities
- Identify customer expectations and support production testing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field from an accredited institution
- Minimum six (6) years working in the Quality function within a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisor or leadership role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure understanding of quality parameters and product requirements
- Experience in quality tools and process/production control methods: APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, GD&T, MSA, PPAP, SPC
- Expert in problem solving and analytical skills using 8D methodology, Is-Is Not, Fishbone Diagram, Brainstorming, Affinity Diagrams, Three legged 5 Why
