About the role

  • Manage the Quality/customer interface to assure requirements are understood
  • Responsible for the problem resolution process, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Manage Customer Scorecard performance and engage areas in corrective actions
  • Oversee Plant Quality Department and activities
  • Lead implementation of Quality Management Systems throughout operations
  • Validate Quality Lab and product evaluation requirements
  • Ensure participation in product development and launch activities
  • Identify customer expectations and support production testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a technical field from an accredited institution
  • Minimum six (6) years working in the Quality function within a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of two (2) years in a supervisor or leadership role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings to ensure understanding of quality parameters and product requirements
  • Experience in quality tools and process/production control methods: APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, GD&T, MSA, PPAP, SPC
  • Expert in problem solving and analytical skills using 8D methodology, Is-Is Not, Fishbone Diagram, Brainstorming, Affinity Diagrams, Three legged 5 Why
