About the role

  • Recruit, train and Develop materials organization as to meet all launch gateways and milestones.
  • Meet all pre-series events and milestones with zero disruption to customer (production).
  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction, prepare perfect SOP for successor projects.
  • Implement processes and technologies to drive growth and operational excellence and overall financial performance.
  • Secure parts availability for the new projects in the pre serial phase and prepare the system setups for the serial phase.
  • Manages inventory and material deliveries to the plant to ensure daily production and maintain standards.
  • Manage suppliers and their development monitors and recommends new material sourcing procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish inbound and outbound logistics flows and monitor their effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in managing plant logistics operations.
  • Experience in working within a Tier 1 automotive supplier preferably from JIT or JIS plant.
  • Strategic and analytical skills with a passion for logistics.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships within corporate and operational functions.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop direct reports.
  • Highly effective communication skills – English and Hungarian language is mandatory, German advantageous.
