About the role
- Recruit, train and Develop materials organization as to meet all launch gateways and milestones.
- Meet all pre-series events and milestones with zero disruption to customer (production).
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction, prepare perfect SOP for successor projects.
- Implement processes and technologies to drive growth and operational excellence and overall financial performance.
- Secure parts availability for the new projects in the pre serial phase and prepare the system setups for the serial phase.
- Manages inventory and material deliveries to the plant to ensure daily production and maintain standards.
- Manage suppliers and their development monitors and recommends new material sourcing procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish inbound and outbound logistics flows and monitor their effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Solid experience in managing plant logistics operations.
- Experience in working within a Tier 1 automotive supplier preferably from JIT or JIS plant.
- Strategic and analytical skills with a passion for logistics.
- Ability to build collaborative working relationships within corporate and operational functions.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop direct reports.
- Highly effective communication skills – English and Hungarian language is mandatory, German advantageous.
