About the role
- Oversee day to day HR function for team members.
- Explain company personnel policies and procedures to employees.
- Lead new hire orientation and onboarding process.
- Record data for each employee including hire date and absences.
- Perform payroll processing and handle discrepancies.
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing to fill vacant positions.
- Communicate with team on new or updated policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and conduct training for employees regarding compliance and safety.
- Maintain confidentiality of HR department disclosures and issues.
- Manage daily operations of Lear satellite plant and report to main HR Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- 2 – 4 years prior human resources experience
- Ability to multi-task in dynamic environment
- Knowledge of operational characteristics of human resources programs
