Engineering Manager

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, supporting their day-to-day effectiveness, technical growth, career development, and long-term goals.
• Serve as the technical leader for your team, establishing technical direction and ensuring engineers make sound architectural and software design decisions.
• Maintain a deep understanding of your team's systems and technical domain, providing meaningful guidance on architecture, implementation strategy, scalability, reliability, security, and operational readiness.
• Partner closely with Product Management to define roadmaps, sequence initiatives, identify dependencies, and develop realistic short- and long-term delivery plans.
• Translate product and business objectives into clear technical strategies, ensuring the team understands not only what it is building but why and how the pieces fit together.
• Lead the technical planning and execution of complex initiatives from initial discovery and design through implementation, release, and production operation.
• Work with engineers and technical leaders to ensure appropriate investment in platform health, technical debt, scalability, security, reliability, observability, and developer efficiency alongside product priorities.
• Identify technical risks, assumptions, dependencies, and delivery constraints early, and work with Product and Engineering leadership to make informed tradeoffs and adjust plans when necessary.
• Drive accountability for team commitments while creating an environment where risks and challenges are surfaced early and addressed constructively.
• Coordinate with other Engineering Managers, Staff Engineers, and technical leaders to manage cross-team dependencies and ensure architectural consistency across the broader platform.
• Establish and evolve engineering practices and architectural standards that address the unique complexities of LeafLink's business while complementing broader organizational standards.
• Improve team effectiveness by using delivery metrics, retrospectives, operational data, and qualitative feedback to identify bottlenecks and drive meaningful improvements.
• Ensure the team maintains a healthy, well-understood backlog with sufficient technical discovery and refinement to support predictable execution.
• Participate in incident response and production troubleshooting, providing technical leadership during complex incidents and ensuring systemic improvements are identified and implemented.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and retain strong engineering talent while building an inclusive environment where engineers can do their best work.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, collaboration, pragmatic decision-making, and continuous improvement.

Product Manager

• Define product strategy and roadmap across multiple related products of the marketplace and financial services platform
• Solve customer pain points and opportunities through research, analytics, and market insights
• Convert business objectives into clear product goals, priorities and measurable outcomes
• Prioritize initiatives based on customer value and business impact
• Lead product discovery efforts to validate customer problems and potential solutions
• Create and maintain product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Compliance

• Serve as designated compliance officer owning enterprise-wide compliance management, BSA/AML/OFAC policies, procedures and program documentation
• Monitor federal and state regulatory developments, assess business impact, advise stakeholders on emerging risks, and implement controls to mitigate them
• Design, build implement and monitor an end-to-end, comprehensive and scalable Enterprise Risk and Compliance program
• Perform comprehensive risk assessments and policy analysis to determine BSA/AML and other risk exposures, collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigating controls and monitoring strategies.
• Develop end-to-end banking-as-a service compliance programs including customer onboarding, ongoing risk assessments, financial transactions review and reporting
• Manage bank partner relationships and oversee partner due diligence and cannabis specific program reviews
• Lead necessary organizational audits and oversee third-party compliance risk assessments

Head of Compliance and Risk

General Counsel

• Serve as a strategic legal partner on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters
• Serve as conduit to outside counsel to field relevant matters
• Work with outside regulatory counsel to help navigate evolving regulatory frameworks and support the company’s compliance obligations
• Draft, review, negotiate and interpret commercial agreements including enterprise customer contracts, banking and fintech services agreements, technology partnerships, and data licensing agreements.
• Partner closely with Sales and Go-to-Market teams to support deal velocity and provide practical legal guidance and support strategic initiatives including partnerships, corporate development opportunities and new product launches
• Provide practical legal guidance across a range of areas including commercial transactions, regulatory matters, product development, privacy, employment, and corporate governance

Legal Counsel

Financial Crime

• Monitor and investigate AML alerts generated across multiple program partners.
• Conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring of cannabis clients
• Prepare partner marijuana specific SAR reports in accordance with FinCEN’s guidance in distinguishing limited filings, priority filings, and termination filings
• Support the development and calibration of transaction monitoring rules tailored to specific typologies
• Administer the end-to-end CRB onboarding and ongoing monitoring, including cannabis specific reviews, license verifications, and beneficial ownership analysis
• Conduct regular CRB account reviews – validating cash deposits, sales activity, and transaction patterns consistent with licensed operations
• Support partner bank regulatory examinations and internal/external audits; prepare materials and respond to examiner inquiries
• Monitor and investigate alerts related to negative news, OFAC and PEP screening, and license violations

Senior BSA/AML Analyst

Backend Engineer

• Design and build backend services supporting commerce workflows and integrations.
• Develop and maintain production-grade services using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design scalable system solutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and evolve service-oriented systems and event-driven architectures using technologies such as SNS, SQS, or event buses.
• Write maintainable, secure, and well-tested backend code.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality user experiences.
• Build reusable components, patterns, and frontend architecture that improve developer velocity.
• Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability.

Senior Frontend Engineer

Account Manager

• Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio(100-200 clients) of licensed cannabis businesses, including cultivators, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and ancillary operators.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through regular communication, account reviews, and strategic consultations.
• Act as a trusted advisor, identifying client needs and recommending appropriate banking and payment solutions.
• Manage client inquiries, escalations, and service requests while ensuring timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Compliance, Operations, Product, and Sales to deliver a high-quality client experience.
• Conduct periodic business reviews to assess client satisfaction, operational changes, and opportunities for growth.
• Ensure client activities align with applicable cannabis banking regulations, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, Know Your Customer (KYC) standards, and state cannabis regulations.
