Assist with new device installation and provide general support assistance with client-side desktop technology
Utilize tools and equipment required to image, update, and support end-user desktop hardware
Install desktop hardware and software on to the corporate network and directory infrastructure as defined by corporate policies and procedures
Perform routine maintenance and installation of hardware and software to end-user desktop devices in a timely manner
Monitor, administer, document, and escalate assigned service tickets ensuring defined SLAs are maintained
Ensure timely and accurate information supporting moves, adds, changes of deployed hardware is updated in the asset management inventory system
Assist with deployment of new end-user desktop hardware
Participate in an on-call rotation as required and travel between facilities
Maintain professional communication at all times
Perform other required duties as assigned
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent OR 2 years of work experience
Continuing education in a related field of study (preferred)
General desktop support technician certification (e.g. A+ certification)
Exhibit a high degree of customer service, cooperation, teamwork, initiative and exceptional judgement
Demonstrated ability to achieve time-based objectives, balance multiple priorities, communicate effectively while remaining organized
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Demonstrated logical problem-solving capability
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and travel between facilities
