About the role
- Support Money Transfer System applications (Domestic and International)
- Provide day to day support / operational activities related to EMTS and GMTS including alert handling, incident management, start of day / end of day activities, service requests, changes and problem management
- Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
- Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
- Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure high availability
- Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution and to achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging understanding of technical process controls or standards
Requirements
- 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, education
- 1+ years of application support experience
- Wire processing experience
- Automation and Scripting experience with Shell and/or Python
- ACI knowledge
- Experience in automation using any of scripting (shell/Perl/Python)
- Experience in IBM MQ Series
- Experience in ITIL processes (Change, Incident and Problem Management) for Application Support
- Experience supporting Money Transfer System applications (EMTS and GMTS)
- Ability to work on-site at posted location
