• Handle 10–12 brief consultations per day via Zoom or phone
• Cover a wide range of immigration matters, including family-based immigration, employment-based visas, removal defense, non-immigrant visas, and investment visas
• Assess case viability, recommend legal strategies, quote fees, and work with the in-house team to convert consultations into new clients
• Focus solely on legal assessment and client engagement

Collections

• Prepare, review, and issue client invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable, track outstanding balances, and follow up with clients on overdue payments.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding billing inquiries, payment plans, and account status, always with professionalism and empathy.
• Process payments, maintain detailed records, and reconcile accounts regularly.
• Partner with attorneys and staff to resolve billing discrepancies or adjustments.
• Provide regular reports on collections status and accounts receivable trends to firm leadership.
• Ensure compliance with firm policies, confidentiality standards, and applicable regulations.

Billing and Collections Specialist

• Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR
• Prepare and file motions, applications for relief, and legal briefs
• Handle appeals to the BIA and, if qualified, to federal courts
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
