About the role
- The Law Offices of Samer Habbas and Associates, P.C. is seeking a skilled Employment Law Attorney to join their employment division, The Labor Champ.
- Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
- Represent clients in court, mediations, depositions, and arbitrations, advocating effectively at each stage
- Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
- Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff
- Work alongside and learn from senior legal talent at a Southern California law firm
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the California State Bar
- Minimum 2-4 years of employment law experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- You’re a natural leader, you’re assertive and confident on and off the job
- You have impeccable character, uncompromising in ethics and morals
- You are a team player but also a self-starter who can work independently
- You enjoy the details and don’t mind spending the time to master a new concept
