About the role
- Manage and administer a portfolio of U.S. government contracts (prime and subcontracts), including IDIQs, GWACs, BPAs, and task orders.
- Review, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, subcontracts, modifications, NDAs, and teaming agreements.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other agency-specific procurement requirements throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual matters with government contracting officers and prime contractors.
- Ensure corporate compliance with applicable federal acquisition regulations and contract-specific clauses (e.g., cybersecurity, flowdowns, small business subcontracting plans).
- Monitor contract performance for compliance and risk mitigation, working closely with program managers and finance.
- Lead internal audits and support external audits by DCAA, DCMA, or other oversight bodies.
- Track and manage contract deliverables, reporting obligations, and deadlines.
- Support capture and proposal teams with pricing inputs, contract terms, and risk assessment for bids and RFP responses.
- Analyze solicitations (RFPs, RFIs, RFQs) and prepare contract volume inputs and representations and certifications (Reps & Certs).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in U.S. government contract management in the IT or technology sector.
- Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal procurement regulations.
- Experience with DoD, GSA, and other civilian agency contracts.
- Proficiency with government contract platforms such as SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, PIEE, or CPARS.
- Familiarity with contract compliance tools and ERP/contract management systems (e.g., Deltek, Unanet, JAMIS, SAP).
- Extensive experience with U.S. federal government contracts, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD).
- Strong understanding of IT and cybersecurity-related procurements.
