About the role

  • Analyze and troubleshoot a wide variety of technical support issues.
  • Assist technical & knowledgeable users and troubleshoot, reproduce issues they have in our lab.
  • Advise knowledgeable IT professionals to efficiently tackle their challenges.
  • Evaluate the solution you present.
  • Communicate mainly by email, limited phone support.
  • Start and end your day a bit later once a week to cover our global customer base.
  • Keep documentation up to date.
  • Work on specific projects (forum/community).
  • Provide input about the process and technical improvements.
  • Troubleshoot environments using technologies supported by Lansweeper: Windows, Linux, Unix, macOS, IBM, Chrome OS, Active Directory, VMware, AWS, Azure, and more.

Requirements

  • Has a positive mindset and likes to have fun with colleagues.
  • Is versatile and has no trouble taking on something I have no experience with.
  • Prefers quality over speed.
  • Continuously expands my skillset by learning.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support (IT issues specifically) (L1 – L3)
  • Proven experience in networking & operating systems such as Windows/Unix/Linux, or Virtualisation, AD, AWS, Azure.
  • Basic understanding of Jira and Confluence.
  • Broad interest and good working knowledge of IT.
  • A knack for creating SQL reports and scripts.
  • Are you based in Austin? (relocation willingness noted)
