About the role
- Translate (EN to French) and edit content for the Belgian market and other French-speaking regions, focusing on logistics topics (battery logistics, car assembly, automotive logistics, healthcare and pharmaceutical logistics, retail logistics, consumer goods logistics, high-tech logistics, etc.)
- As an editor, review the task brief and ensure the text is readable by assessing clarity, style and references, and by correcting grammar, punctuation, spelling and formatting errors
- For translation tasks, compare the translated content with the source file and verify the quality of the translation
- If a text does not meet the requirements, provide constructive feedback to the assigned project manager to discuss next steps
- Communicate with a project manager who will provide guidelines and support throughout the process.
Requirements
- Native French speaker based in Belgium
- Proven experience with Logistics or Supply Chain-related texts and available work samples
- Flawless writing skills with zero tolerance for mistakes or low-quality work
- Ability to commit to and strictly meet deadlines
- Work in a structured, methodical way and follow instructions carefully
- Easygoing, positive and highly responsible character
