About the role
- Oversee the smooth, safe and compliant running of multiple council buildings
- Manage day‑to‑day facilities operations, including fire, security, cleaning, maintenance, contractors, room bookings and helpdesk functions
- Lead and develop FM staff, monitor budgets, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and maintain strong customer service standards
- Support procurement, manage key contracts inclusive of SLA’s and KPI’s, liaise with landlords, and deputise for the Facilities Services Manager when required
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a wide range of Facilities and Operational areas listed in the role
