About the role
- Manage Technical Support Officers to secure and validate landlord licence applications
- Issue accurate, comprehensive, and legally robust licences and manage compliance across the life of the scheme
- Support Head of Housing Regulatory Services in delivering enforcement and licensing functions
- Ensure performance, financial, and corporate targets are met
- Respond to Freedom of Information requests, Subject Access Requests, Members' Enquiries, and Service Complaints
- Coordinate cross-service activities including training, data management, equipment, and operational requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Housing Regulatory Services function
Requirements
- Internal candidates only (current member of staff at LBB)
- At least three years relevant housing enforcement or licensing experience
- Experienced manager with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Clear verbal and written communication with a wide range of contacts
- Competent user of Microsoft Office with ability to monitor and report on work programs and performance
- Demonstrable experience issuing legal documents and ensuring team performance in line with legislation
- Ability to ensure Technical Support Team performance and support cross-service activities including management of the services training scheme
