About the role
- Analyse and clean large datasets from varied sources
- Identify and fix data issues, including geometry and formatting errors
- Quality control data from manual and third-party sources
- Compare pre- and post-transformation outcomes to ensure accuracy
- Document transformation rules and maintain audit trails
- Collaborate with engineers to define technical requirements
- Contribute to process and tool improvements
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience working with spatial data and GIS tools (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS)
- Proven ability to manage and analyse large, multi-source datasets
- Understanding of optimal methods for data capture and transformation
