About the role
- Prospect and secure new business through networking, industry events, social media outreach, and proactive cold calling
- Respond to customer service and sales enquiries as required
- Build long‑term partnerships across property, energy, and infrastructure sectors
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and support pricing strategies
- Follow up customer proposals, quotes, and leads to close new business
- Engage regularly with key clients to understand satisfaction levels, explore growth opportunities, and support ongoing service needs
- Work with the help desk to resolve customer issues efficiently
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including sales activity, pipeline, and projections
- Share industry insights, including emerging trends and technologies
- Achievement of annual sales and revenue targets
Requirements
- 5+ years in sales roles, ideally in technology, energy, utilities, motor trade, or property sectors
- Proven ability to build and strengthen relationships at all organisational levels
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms (desirable)
- Demonstrated success achieving sales targets in a B2B environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence
