About the role

  • Personal management of existing customers, development of customer-specific account strategies, and acquisition of new customers within the assigned sales region
  • Delivery of product and strategy presentations, as well as providing qualified technical consultancy to our customers
  • Conducting sales negotiations, independently preparing quotations, and continuous follow-up in close cooperation with the inside sales team
  • Maintaining a market presence through active participation in trade fairs, conferences, and other relevant sales events
  • Ongoing market monitoring and competitive analysis to identify sales opportunities and pursue them consistently

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of successful sales experience with smart metering solutions in the thermal energy (heating) and water sectors
  • Solid knowledge of thermal and water metering technology and experience with complex, solution-oriented system requirements
  • Strong communication skills, confident demeanor, and experience dealing with demanding stakeholder groups
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS-CRM, and MS Office
