About the role
- Assist in the management of IT related projects; entire project lifecycle from sizing and scoping project to implementation, closure and handoff to support, ensuring successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
- May function as Scrum Master for one or more workstreams, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments for team, and managing dependencies with other teams.
- Builds project plans, including necessary deliverables and schedules.
- Assist in the facilitation of project scoping, ensuring that issues are raised, necessary input is obtained and project work is outlined.
- Assist in management of project dependencies to ensure schedule execution.
- Assist in risk management and appropriate mitigation strategies for projects.
- Leads meetings and facilitates effective communications to drive decisions and action items.
- Provides regular reports and project status updates to management, stakeholders and others.
- Utilizes appropriate metrics to help understand health of team and deliverables for the projects are met.
Requirements
- Working towards bachelor’s degree in informatics
- Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.
