Oversee daily operations of the Logistics department
Coordinate, monitor and provide oversight of Logistics workforce
Assist and provide direction in support of material control processes
Conduct continuous cycle and periodic physical inventory
Ensure proper identification of all stock and handling requirements
Control release of materials and tools
Maintain continuous safety surveillance
Coordinate with production or engineering personnel
Onboard new hires
Ensure inventory accuracy levels remain at about 95%
Participate in audits
Support Enterprise Logistics initiatives and projects
Plan and coordinate in-process warehouse activity
Attend production meetings to ensure operations and site requirements are achieved
Manage compliance with regulations and guidelines
Prepare and maintain metrics, records, and reports covering materials acceptance

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
Prior experience in Logistics/Operations functions
Experience using Qlik and Power BI Applications, Oracle, and Delmia systems, preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with Managing Bargaining Unit employees preferred
