About the role
- Work rotating shifts and alternate with co-worker on weekend and holiday standby in support of maintenance and operations on program aircraft.
- Inspect and maintain ground support equipment.
- Update, support, and implement changes and reviews of program Technical Publications, Service Bulletins, and Service Letters to program aircraft.
- Utilize engineering drawings and vendor manuals to resolve user concerns that are not covered in Technical Publications.
- Available for on-call support 24/7.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience on secure communication devices, including Desktop STEs, STE-Rs, KIV-7, and KY-100s
- Highly skilled Avionics/Communications Technician with a high degree of tact and interpersonal communication skills
- Five years of experience with avionics and communications systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and possess basic networking skills
