About the role
- Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain function for T&RF, including Procurement, Subcontracts, and Material Management, to support program execution and business objectives
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive performance across cost, schedule, quality, delivery, inventory, and compliance metrics
- Serve as the primary Supply Chain leader for T&RF, partnering cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Finance
- Ensure all supply chain activities comply with FAR/DFARS, contractual requirements, and corporate policies
- Lead complex supplier negotiations and manage strategic supplier relationships to improve performance, reduce risk, and achieve cost savings
- Drive supplier development, category management, and risk mitigation strategies to enhance supply chain resiliency and lead time performance
- Support new business pursuits by developing sourcing strategies, cost estimates, and subcontracting approaches
- Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging data, systems, and best practices to optimize efficiency and performance
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on supply chain performance, risks, and opportunities
- Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel
- U.S. Citizenship required (ability to obtain a security clearance, if applicable)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience
- Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, including procurement, subcontracts, and/or material management
- Experience supporting U.S. Government / Department of Defense contracts
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience leading teams and managing across a function in a complex, matrixed environment
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating complex supplier agreements and subcontracts
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain processes
- Master’s Degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in aerospace and defense industry supply chains
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and/or Control Account Management
- Experience with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
- Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience driving organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and lead cross-functional teams
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
