About the role

  • Lead the annual AOP/LRP planning cycle; synthesize market, competitive, and technology trends across ISR, comms, networking, and EW to inform investments and divestments.
  • Build portfolio themes and stage-gate decision briefs for R&D, IRAD, and bid/capture. Grounded in customer needs, mission outcomes, and financial returns.
  • Partner with Business Development and Programs to create growth roadmaps, pipeline health views, and win strategies for key market segments.
  • Run the sector operating rhythm (MBRs/QBRs, program reviews, capture gates, OKRs); drive follow-through on decisions and remove friction for teams.

  • Create and maintain executive dashboards (financial, delivery, risk, talent) with clear KPIs and leading indicators.
  • In partnership with Finance/FP&A, track P&L performance, margins, cost takeout, and productivity initiatives; proactively surface risks/opportunities and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate capital planning, facilities/secured spaces strategy, and compliance with export controls and cyber/security requirements.
  • Drive complex, cross-functional programs—spanning engineering, production, supply chain, security, and corporate functions—to on-time, on-budget outcomes.
  • Lead special projects (e.g., acquisition integration, production variance reduction, organizational design, digital operations enablement).
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal leaders; support strategic negotiations and executive engagements.
  • Orchestrate internal communications (All Hands, exec updates) to align teams and reinforce priorities.
