About the role
- Directs all phases of programs assigned from inception through completion.
- Drives program execution in order to achieve key business and financial objectives.
- Participates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and implements solutions.
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience
- 10-16 years relevant program management experience
- Proven project/program management performance with DOD or USN customer
- Microsoft Office – Proficiency
- Proven Ability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Program Cost management, EVMS experience preferred
- General knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements
- Government DPAS rated contracts
