About the role
- Manage projects or defined processes within the job area, including planning, execution, and delivery under general supervision
- Recommend and implement moderate to significant improvements to systems, processes, or solutions to enhance performance
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external parties (e.g., customers, vendors) to explain and interpret operational processes and procedures
- Analyze complex, multi-disciplinary problems and develop creative, data-driven solutions based on prior experience and investigation
- Contribute to achieving operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results
- Provide guidance, coaching, and training to team members within the job area as needed
- Delegate work and review work products to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with project objectives
- Support root-cause analysis efforts for undefined or difficult problems spanning multiple functional areas
- Ability to travel 10-20%
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance
- Experience contributing to or leading projects with responsibility for improving processes, systems, or operational outcomes
- Experience driving process improvements across complex technical or operational environments
- Background supporting government, defense, aerospace, or highly regulated programs
- Experience coordinating work across multiple teams, disciplines, or stakeholders
- Familiarity with root-cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Experience influencing project objectives and outcomes without direct authority
